Problem Note 57930: After you upgrade SAS® Environment Manager to SAS® 9.4 TS1M3, all SAS Environment Manager Service Architecture Framework reports fail under Windows
After you upgrade SAS Environment Manager to the third maintenance release for SAS 9.4 (TS1M3) in a Windows operating environment, all of the SAS Environment Manager Service Architecture Framework reports fail with error messages like the following:
61 +%include "&SASEVCONFIGDIR/Datamart/EVDMAUTOEXEC_STP.sas";
WARNING: Physical file does not exist, C:\CONFIG!\Lev1\SASApp\
C\:\CONFIG!\Lev1\Web\SASEnvironmentManager\emi-framework\Datamart\EVDMAUTOEXEC_STP.sas.
ERROR: Cannot open %INCLUDE file
C\:\CONFIG!\Lev1\Web\SASEnvironmentManager\emi-framework/Datamart/EVDMAUTOEXEC_STP.sas.
The problem occurs because the SAS macro variable SASEVCONFIGDIR appears to have an incorrect value in the sasev.properties file, which is located in the following default path:
C:\CONFIG!\Lev1\Web\SASEnvironmentManager\emi-framework
When you encounter this problem, the sasev.properties file contains the following incorrect value:
C\:\\CONFIG!\\Lev1\\Web\\SASEnvironmentManager\\emi-framework
Note: The path contains extra backslashes. The backslash between the drive letter C and the associated colon causes this problem.
To circumvent the problem, complete the following steps:
- Make a backup of the sasev.properties file.
- Open the sasev.properties file.
- Modify the Location of the SAS Environment Config Directory to remove the extra backslashes.
- Save and close the file.
